Over the years I’ve read much about sounding boards. It’s a bit of slang or jargon for a mastermind alliance, support group, trusted network, counsellor, etc. Most people who’ve achieved success beyond the ordinary have sounding boards. They have a collective of those whom they can speak with about ideas, concepts, and possibilities. I’m no different.

When faced with a decision and uncertain of action, I usually speak to some in my support group. My network that I’ve had in place for well over a decade. I list the positives and negatives. We speak at depth about various scenarios. We speak about contingencies. Some offer experiences from their past. Others offer an objective viewpoint.

After all that’s done, then I pray and ask Him for direction. I have for His decision to be obvious. When faced with a deadline, I ask for His will before the deadline too. More often than not, I get exactly what I need before it’s needed.

Today, Wednesday, April 28, 2021, I am grateful that:

He has provided a group of trusted advisors. Individuals, that collectively, possess experience in numerous areas. Fulfillment of my purpose is nearly assured as most, if not all, have accomplished those things which I aspire to do.

My sounding boards offer more of their experience than their opinions. Some sprinkly in their opinion, but most share what’s worked well, or not so well. I say, “Be grateful for those sharing their experience. Be patient with those sharing their opinions.”

Ideas are manifesting for ways to increase business for my client. It’s taken longer than I’d like, but some ideas are “popping” up. It’ll be great to get them implemented.

Whom do you trust?

How many “sounding boards” do you currently have?

Who are they? What areas of expertise do they possess?

How will you leverage their expertise to fulfill your purpose?

Be Great. Be Grateful!!!

If you feel this will help you or someone you know, please share to your timeline.
