Yesterday was interesting as I learned a bit more about myself. I’d incorrectly assumed the instructions I’d provided an employee were thorough and correct. They were not. Being unfamiliar with the process I’d made some incorrect assumptions and yesterday I learned that the process was a bit more cumbersome than I’d initially thought.

Jane did exactly as instructed. Unfortunately, my instructions were lacking. Now the goal I’d set may not be accomplished. This first month will be a great testing ground for the concept, the process, and the outcome.

Today, Wednesday, October 21, 2020, I am grateful that:

More time didn’t elapse before finding my errors. Had I not checked the progress of the workflow, we could have continued for another week or more before realizing my mistakes.

Jane and Nick are both patient. Not sure if it’s a cultural or personality trait but I’m happy they both have an immense amount of patience. It’s a character trait that I have yet to develop to the extent which they possess.

We are making progress on the business front. It’s been a couple of weeks and hopefully today we’ll be able to complete the first of many videos.

Veronica had a chance to see and visit with her son yesterday. A silver lining indeed, since his visit was during his uncle’s funeral but a visit long overdue.

Do you find yourself going through the motions? Not being as thorough as you have been in prior activities.

How do you monitor your behavior?

How do you amend your behavior?

Do you have a mentor that’s objective with feedback?

Be Great. Be Grateful!!!

If you feel this will help you or someone you know, please share to your timeline.
