It’s been years in the making. I’ve stayed committed. I’ve remained focused. I’ve done what’s needed, for the most part, day in and day out. Yet, more is required.

The goal post isn’t moving, it’s remained stationary. Yet, as I get closer, I realize there are more obstacles I was unable to see from a distance. As I approach my goal, more things are becoming apparent. More hurdles need to be overcome, hurdles I couldn’t see from afar.

I suppose that’s part of life’s learning process. I wouldn’t have realized these circumstances had I quit. I would not have seen or faced these obstacles. I would have surrendered at some earlier point, never to have gotten this far.

My point is this and nothing else. DON’T QUIT! DO NOT YIELD. NEVER, EVER surrender. Let nothing, absolutely nothing stand between you and accomplishing your given task. There will usually be some unseen challenges. You will have to adapt, to bend, to morph, but never, ever break.

You will accomplish what you desire, if you don’t quit!

Today, Wednesday, April 21, 2021, I am grateful that:

My attitude has remained positive. It’s challenging to continue to adopt new skills, acquire different tools, manage others, develop different plans, and all the other things needed to fulfill my purpose. Yet, it’s my reason for existence and I will not quit.

After roughly a week of back pain, I’m feeling much better. It’s not something that I’ve encountered on a consistent basis in the past. The last week has been physically demanding and I’m happy to feel much better than before.

My team is working harmoniously. I haven’t done a very good job in articulating their mission but I’ll work on that this week. I’ll setup a meeting and fill them in on the plan in its entirety. Hopefully, they’ll remain motivated, positive, and willing to stay aboard.

How do you overcome your discouraging moment?

What do you do to uplift your spirits when you’re feeling down and unmotivated?

Do you have a mantra you repeat consistently? Something that reminds you of how incredible you truly are?

If you don’t have anything you do consistently, work now to develop something. Recall a time when you felt unstoppable. What were you doing? What were you wearing? What music were you listening to? What had you accomplished? How were you feeling at that moment?

Remember that experience when things take a turn for the worse.

Be Great. Be Grateful!!!

If you feel this will help you or someone you know, please share to your timeline.
