This entire week has been filled with well wishes and season’s greetings from most everyone I’ve encountered. Tis the season to greet and treat all your fellows as close friends or family. People seem to be more friendly, more kind, more considerate, all in remembrance of Jesus.
I’m not sure what stops people from behaving that way on a daily basis. It’s baffling. For me, it’s just another day. I don’t change my behavior for a singular reason. It’s not about being reactive. It’s not about knee jerk reactions or doing something for one thing or one particular time or occasion.
My actions are determined by what’s needed to fulfill my purpose. I don’t change for Christmas or any other day. I do what’s needed consistently. So I don’t change for Christmas or any other day.
Today, Saturday, December 26, 2020, I am grateful that:
This year is ending. It’s been a challenging year, not for the reasons which everyone else seems to think about Covid. I’ve come to some realizations about fulfilling my purpose and what it’ll take to get things done. I’m not exactly elated with my conclusions.
I get to move into this next year with a different focus. I’m not elated with the prospects but happy for the opportunity.
Will you continue behaving today as you did yesterday?
Will you extend greetings and warm wishes to strangers?
Are you actions based on circumstances or the benefits of fulfilling something long-term?
Be Great. Be Grateful!!!
If you feel this will help you or someone you know, please share to your timeline.
