In the last 3–5 weeks I’ve made some great progress. I’ve gotten two manuscripts ready for publication. I’ve had three book covers designed, worked on a landing and thank you page for my books, and acquired a tool for audio production. For all I’ve accomplished, it seems as if nothing’s in production. No book is published and none have been completed as an audio version. When I get “mental” or stuck in my mind, I have a time tested method to cure that.
I refer to my list(s) of things I needed to finish. When I can visually assess my progress, I’m no longer in a state of doldrum or stagnation or seeming inactivity.
Today, Monday, June 15, 2020, I am grateful that:
Most of my challenges today are a slight variation of those I’ve faced before. It’s a benefit of experience and wisdom to determine they are, recall the solutions, and implement them.
I am making progress and moving to get things done, even when I feel differently. It’s a funny thing how “feelings can inhibit and enslave our movements and abilities.” If I only did things when I “felt” like it, there are so many things I would not have accomplished. My feelings about a particular task, event, or day will diminish over time but completing that particular task will not.
All my needs today are met. It’s been a challenging and extremely uncomfortable couple of years, living with purpose and conviction, yet things are working out. It may not be pretty and poetically beautiful but I’ll write it as such, cause in the end, I’m sure it’ll appear that way, and that feeling will diminish as well.
How do you move forward and ignore your feelings?
What can you accomplish today to help fulfill your purpose?
How can you pull yourself from the mire of doldrum and move towards your greatness?
Be Great. Be Grateful!!!
If you feel this will help you or someone you know, please share to your timeline.
