So many people are in low spirits these days. For over a year we’ve been living under pandemic constraints. Some have lost jobs, family members, savings, and so much more. It’s taking its toll, this pandemic. I’ve done my best to surround myself with and only speak with those whose hope and courage remain resolute. That circle is getting smaller and smaller.

Personally, things are going great. Ive worked on my craft. I’ve continued to build the skills needed to fulfill my purpose. I’ve taken advantage of opportunities during the pandemic. “Every cloud has a silver lining” and Napoleon Hill once said you have to find “the seed of equivalent benefit.” There’s usually something positive in the negative, it’s a matter of insight and perspective.

I remain hopeful. I am encouraged by recent events, not globally but personally. Nothing over the last year is unique to the pandemic. People lose jobs, family and friends die, People deplete their savings from unforeseen events. It’s life. No more. No less.

Today, Friday, April 9, 2021, I am grateful that:

I’m able to see the silver lining. For more years than I care to recall, I could only see the negative. I lived with a victim’s mindset. Life happened to me instead of for me. That’s no longer the case.

Working towards my purpose eliminates distractions. Life happens and as long as I’m on the planet that will remain true. What I do, how I act, how I process life’s events is the only thing within my control

While others face challenges I’ll offer assistance. Through these lists, through other posts, various conversations, emails, text messages, or any other means of communication, I can offer some sort of encouragement. A bit of enthusiasm and conviction, it’s reciprocity. Others have done the same for me and now it’s my turn to amplify and return what’s been so freely given.

Are you able to ignore daily distractions?

Can you move towards your purpose as life swirls around you?

How can you stand as a beacon of hope and encouragement, a lighthouse for those navigating this turbulent pandemic storm?

Be Great. Be Grateful!!!

If you feel this will help you or someone you know, please share to your timeline.
