For a couple of years I’ve consistently written most days. I’ve allowed my consistency to be interrupted after thoughts of publishing my gratitude lists. I’d thought the lists could possibly help others strengthen their relationship with their Creator, yet I’ve still yet to publish the lists. I will publish them beginning this week but there’s an interesting by-product, inconsistencies.

My lists are an integral part of my mornings. Having interrupted writing them, it’s also disrupted the rest of my work habits. I’ve accomplished much less than I’d anticipated at the point in the year. I’m getting things done, but there’s so much more. I need to reengage, recommit, and stop being casually consistent.

Today, Monday, August 3, 2020, I am grateful that:

I’m willing to move courageously towards my purpose. It’s uncomfortable at most times, yet it’s my reason for existence. To not complete my appointed task, to turn away and live as others would be spiritual suicide.

Discernment has been granted with respect to consistency. It’s merely the larval stage of sloth. I will not allow it to blossom.

More ways to fulfill my purpose are being revealed. Additionally, the tools needed to implement those methods are becoming apparent. It’s refreshing and a bit scary simultaneously. I’ll continue on this path, partly because I’m being pulled in that direction and partly because I’m curious to see how the journey unfolds.

Has complacency casually crept into your life?

In an ideal setting, how would you eliminate that area?

Do it anyway!

Be Great. Be Grateful!!!

If you feel this will help you or someone you know, please share to your timeline.
